PromptTok ("we", "us") is an AI image generation and social sharing app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to keep things simple and honest.

1. What we collect

  • Account info you provide: email, username, display name, optional avatar and bio.
  • Content you create: text prompts, generated images, posts, comments, likes, follows.
  • Email for the Video Generation waitlist (only if you opt in).
  • Basic technical data: device type, app version, and error logs to fix bugs.

2. How we use your data

  • To generate images from your prompts using third-party AI models.
  • To operate the social feed (showing posts, likes, comments, follows).
  • To notify you about the Video Generation feature when it launches.
  • To prevent abuse, enforce our rules, and improve the product.

3. AI-generated content

Every image created in PromptTok is generated by AI and labeled "AI Generated". You are responsible for the prompts you submit. Do not generate content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that impersonates real people without consent.

4. Service providers

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for your account and posts.
  • AI model providers — your prompt is sent to AI providers solely to generate the requested image.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

5. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not share your email with advertisers.
  • We do not use your prompts to train our own models.

6. Your choices

  • Edit your profile, delete posts, or sign out at any time from the Profile tab.
  • Email us to request account or data deletion.
  • Report any post you find inappropriate using the Report option on each post.

7. Children

PromptTok is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If we learn we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app.
